The confusion between Hitachi and Isuzu and Daikin and Nissan is due to the fact that there are connections between these companies through business groups called keiretsu in Japan. Hitachi and Isuzu are part of the DKB keiretsu, while Daikin Air Conditioners and Nissan are part of the Fuyo keiretsu.
My registered Hitachi Lifestudio Backup will not open. Just asks to restart the computer. Is there an upgrade or can I download files?

There is no way you could download the application, because it has a commercial licence. If you have the setup package, re-install the product or go to Start > Control panel > Uninstall a program. Locate the application, and proceed with the uninstall instead choose Repair.
Adobe has discontinued Flash Player. My Hitachi Lifestudio HD software says I need Adobe Flash Player for it to work. Thus currently my Lifestudio software will not run so I cannot access the backup and cataloging features of this software. All advice on this matter gratefully received.

Unfortunately, without Adobe Flash Player, it may not be possible to use Hitachi Lifestudio HD software as it requires Flash Player to function. It might be worth considering alternative backup and cataloging software that does not rely on Flash Player.
If you downloaded Hitachi LifeStudio from its official website, then Kaspersky identified a false positive and you should continue the installation. Secondly, if the software has been obtained from a third party website, then remove it as soon as possible and use the official website to save original software on your PC. This way you'll avoid bad malware infections that could render your PC unusable until some IT technician will take a look at it.
